Flooded Venice

We live in Venice.
Expectedly this is our most expensive night stay from the beginning of our trip. This is Italy, baby!  Not German. Be prepared for the price and quality.

We are not in hurry, so we have slow breakfast. But still - we wake up quiet early to get. This is our nature now. We plan to go to old city. Yes, it's crowded. And maybe it's flooded. But we can have at least quick look. Somewhere there La Biennale di Venezia can be found. Let's try?

We started from Architectural exposition and got lost there.
Andrey also got to the interior design exposition later. To pay attention to every park of this huge cultural event you need to have few weeks here.
Some travel around partially flooded city (oh, so much of everything here!) and our minds become flooded with impressions.

We forgot to invent task for today. But day was very busy, so we still had enough emotions.

We need a rest. And laundry. Got any? ))

Lazy outdoor day

We woke up at night because of very strong wind. So strong, that tent was shaking in very frightful way. George and Anthony went out to fortify it. And few minutes after heavy rain stared. But tent was secured and rest of the night passed with no troubles.

New day started with beautiful scenic view, workout and nice self cooked breakfast.
Plan for that day - have a slow ride by small roads out of big cities, Austrian then Italian.
Task - 500 push-ups.

First stop - small town somewhere in the mountains. After the parking we threw away trash we'd collected before. At that moment we discovered that local people throw away brand new packed items. We were surprised and start to explore it. Probably you can name it dumpster diving. And, who could imagine, somebody called police to deal with us. Unfortunately we were not imprisoned to thous beautiful comfortable Austrian jails.

Next - castle ruins in the mountains. Amazing road, place, views... and WiFi signal in the middle of nowhere. Of course we spent there a lot of time.

Some more ride in Austria and highway to Italy. Lakes, snowy peaks, yellow trees. Old mine, looks very industrial and scary. Everything there is so spectacular. Just that cold rain and wind... but how you can see all thous beauties of the nature if you are not experiencing the weather!?

Dinner at local pizzeria and way to Venice. Our next day gonna be there!

Bratislava morning

5 people in one small room sleeping next to each other.
Alex... I dislike it for 4*. Out of 5
Andrey... For me it was absolutely ok!
Mykhailo... I'm very disappointed that my phone want charged! Apart of that I'm ok with this night.
Anthony... I had a very beginning sleep. Can't say you why. Just dislike.
George... I'm really glad that we stayed at couchsurf, cause I'm really interested with how people live. And I feel good at the morning.
We can make a conclusion, that somebody would be dissatisfied with your decision (even yourself). Just don't stop at this point. This is a training. Always.

Task for today - ask 3 people for their favorite place in city. And why. And get answer.

Andrey and Antony went to car service to deal with gearbox problem. Mykhailo went to co-working. George and Alex went to explore the city.
By 3 pm we'd been done with our tasks and daily routine.
Bratislava appeared to be a very cute city. Pleasant environment, prices and not overcrowded.

We are planning our trip for the next 3 days. Finding good and affordable place to stay is still quite a problem. But weather today is good, so we are going to have a outdoor camp.

We stopped somewhere in the Austrian mountains. It's raining but not that cold and we are really glad to be outdoor.

From Vienna to Bratislava

Misty but beautiful, energized morning.
We are going to Vienna and then to Bratislava.
Task for today - 500 seats exercises. Punishment it's the same - day without sugar.

Today Vienna turned to us it's pleasant side. Maybe because no rain or because we went not to that stupid crowded shopping street from the beginning, but to beautiful palaces.
We got to some army exhibition. They don't march by main streets, just meet with people, show what they have and talk. A lot of talking, testing, touching, passing and explanation. It was really cool and army guys were unexpectedly friendly.
Then... explorations of old town, universities, living quarters. We saw hope people live. A little bit of course. And this is very pleasant way of life. So Vienna it's not only tourist trap (oh, sorry, attraction). But also a very good place to stay for a while.

Everyone finished team for today. Legs are in pain.

Bratislava. It appeared to be very pleasant city center. Cute, calm, warm. We didn't plan to be here, but now we are very glad to stay. Anthony have a friend here, so we are going to Couchsurf at his.

Rain in Vienna

We had some problems with 4th gear and it disappointed us a little (but Antony - a lot. He hold the main responsibility for the car). It was Sunday, so hard to find car service. We've changed our plans a little and going to visit Bratislava. Not that bad turn 😏

Austria... Met us with rain and casino on the border. With dragons and knights looks like Disneyland, not like half-underground national lottery in Kyiv.
And grapes. Who could imagine they have so many grape fields.

We came up with game: daily task. Complete this quest or have a punishment. Today's task was to receive a kiss in the cheek from a stranger. So, during our travel in Vienna we thought got to fulfill it.
Anthony managed to get it. There rest have to deal with the punishment: next day without sugar.

Vienna... Looks like it's ok, but not really fun. Maybe also because of rain.
.
Prices for Airbnb or hotels are really high. 😣 So we decided to go to the nature and stay in tent. But with moving out of comfort zone. We were going from house to house and asking people to stay near them. Really fun adventure, regection therapy. Finally we found the spot. Quick tea, long talk and singing before the sleep. Cool finish off the hard day.

Andrey... Glad to have task. You need to work with you brains, not only looking around.
George... Antony was the first with task and I didn't want to make the same. I hoped to see some LGBT activist and ask them. So it would be harder... But no any. Sad, Gayrope is not that gay.
Mykhailo... It was rainy, but beautiful. Want to see more of it.
Alex... Just grumpy
